Hermit Park School
Hermit Park State School: The school required a large multipurpose area used for indoor sporting and whole school assemblies. The job required good quality speakers in an acoustically reverberating environment. The space included a large stage area and enough room to seat 600 students. We installed a total of twelve commercial grade indoor/outdoor 100 volt line speakers to optimise the acoustic capabilities of the area. A commercial projector was integrated into the solution, with a lamp life of over 5000 hours and an excellent contrast ratio. A 3×4 metre screen and a lecturn with wireless bluetooth mic system completed this job.
Jupiters Casino
Jupiters Hotel and Casino Complex: A complete overhaul of the existing analogue TV system within the casino was needed. AV Design supplied and installed one of North Queensland’s first commercial digital TV systems. This required the re-cabling of all TVs in the casino and the installation of a digital modulated TV system. With this upgrade, patrons now enjoy an enhanced casino experience with the availability of high definition sporting and music broadcasts.
Garbutt State School: The school required the refit of five classrooms. AV Design provided audio and five new three-touch Hitachi educational whiteboards. Garbutt was one of the first schools in the state to get the new three-touch boards. These have gone into year 3 and 4 classrooms to enhance learning experiences and bring the school into the 21st century.
